The Sound of Mozart
We were so fortunate to be at St Peter's Cathedral in Salzburg at the time of a Mozart concert performance...........we walked in and found seats in the second row. The International Music Festival was going on in Salzburg from July 9 to Sept 1.
The whole city was filled with opera, concerts and musicals at venues all over town. It was really special to be in the city at that time. They were highlighting all the arts throughout the whole area.
After the Mozart concert we visited with one of the lady choir members..........wouldn't you know it.........she was
married to the conductor. She invited us to the choir room of the Cathedral after the concert to meet her husband and to meet the lead soloist...........it was quite a thrill and what a beautiful setting.
