Winter Palace- Vienna, Austria

Winter Palace-Vienna

The Habsburg family ruled much of Europe for close to 400 years.  Much of the empire collapsed with the loss of WW1.
The empire had two palaces in Vienna.......one for the summer time and the other for winter.  The grounds, buildings, gardens, horses, dinner settings and art collection were AMAZING.

Vienna is a "Must See"

Interesting little story about Beethoven who spent a lot of time in Vienna........he lived in a lot of different places when he was there........the reason he moved around a lot ........he was not a very good tenant.........he would play his crazy piano all night long.........and he wouldn't pay the rent........now you know the rest of the story.
