Would You Wear This T-Shirt in France ?

Villefranche-sur-Mer, our home in the French Riviera is a slice of small town heaven.  It has steep, narrow streets that lead down to the sea and to the beach.   Luxury yachts dot the peaceful bay.     On the way down to the sea are wonderful shops, restaurants and markets.  All we have to do is head out in the morning a few steps in any direction and buy fresh fruit, vegetables and bread.  It's been a wonderful base for us to explore  the French Riviera.

Margaret presented Denny and Renee a t-shirt which she said they couldn't wear until after she left.  But they did anyway and couldn't figure out why Cathy and Margaret kept dropping further behind them. ( Des Moines-French for The Moines)

A day trip took us to Eze, a medieval city with jaw dropping views.    It has been beautifully preserved.  We walked paths that took us past remains of walls dating back to the Bronze Age.  The ground floors have been transformed into artists' studios and shops.  But the real gem was the garden high atop.  We have never seen such beautiful views....it was one of those places that you didn't want to leave.
