PRAGUE IT IS
We went off the beaten path a bit today in Prague. First, we strolled through a quiet peaceful neighborhood and observed everyday life. What first drew our attention was an unusual church designed by a well known Slovenian architect. What I loved even more was the marvelous outdoor market. You could find anything a foodie like me could possible want...and everything was homemade!!!!
The next surprise was a trip up the Prague TV tower...renamed the Park Tower Prague. The tower has a unique One Room-Hotel and a very nice restaurant and bistro. 10 giant baby sculptures climb up the side of the tower.
We left the Tower and continued our walk to Vysehrad...one of Prague's most historical sites above the Vltava River. The nice thing was all the tourists were at the Charles Bridge....leaving this beautiful 10 century fortress with very few visitors. It was fun to stumble across such a beautiful, peaceful spot.
Prague was a FUN place to explore.......so much history......so much natural beauty.
