The Very Enchanting Village of Bruges, Belgium
The area became a chartered city in the year 1128. At one time Bruges was the chief commercial city of the world. The area is know for it's Chocolate, Beer, Canals, Lace and Medieval Buildings. The population today is 117,000.
It is located in the NW part of Belgium and has a Flemish background to it.
Every time you turn around there is an awesome building or scene that you want to capture with your camera. The people are friendly and the food is super.........in fact Bruges has 8 different restaurants that have a Michelin rating.
The canals that meander through the city make the area very romantic and peaceful in spite of all the tourists that visit from around the world.
